These handwoven 100% wool mats are made by the Zapotec people in the village of Teotitlan Del Valle in Oaxaca, Mexico.  The yarns are hand spun, hand dyed, and hand carded.  Most dyes used are organic natural dyes made from leaves, berries, rocks and even insects.  Beautiful work.
