This salve is made in Northern New Mexico using petroleum jelly as a base with extract of Osha root and Pinon sap. The Piñon is similar to Pine and Osha is a member of the Celery family. Osha has been for years called "Navajo Aspirin" because the Navajo people have used Osha for a cure all. Osha grows only at certain high elevations in New Mexico and Colorado. It is rare and must be harvested with care. When harvested it must be thinned out and not stripped to keep it growing for years to come. We have had several customers use this salve for relief from dry skin, psoriasis, infections of the skin, and as a base for make up with outstanding results.
