This handcrafted statue of Francisco Villa (Pancho Villa) was made by Pilar Hernandez in 2004 in Mexico using native clay. We found this and several other pieces of her work in a back stock room at our gallery recently. We have been unable to obtain any of her work since 2005 so these pieces are very collectible. Pancho Villa invaded the USA at Colombus, New Mexico and until 9/11 was the only one to attack the USA on their home turf. The photo shows Pancho Villa with Benito Juarez and Jose Maria Morelos. Pancho Villa is the one with the big hat on the right. The price quoted is for Pancho Villa only.
